The famous Bardo museum and Tunis airport are 8km away and the seaside with the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said and the remains of Carthage are 15km away. You can get there by taking the TGM which makes multiple stops en route: La Goulette, Salambo, Amilcar, Carthage, La Marsa.
Another popular activity is simply strolling through the narrow streets of the Medina to discover its many facets: Arab, Andalusian, Jewish, its craftsmen, and its appetizing and picturesque street food, not forgetting Foundouk El Attarine, a typical restaurant and handicraft house set up in a caravanserai of the perfumers’ souk.
